Friendship Quotes

(source: boardofwisdom.com)

Never explain yourself. Your friends don’t need it and your enemies won’t believe it.
- Belgicia Howell

Friendship is like standing on wet cement. The longer you stay, the harder it's to leave, and you can never go without leaving your footprints behind.
- Moi

Its really amazing when two strangers become the best of friends, but it's really sad when the best of friends become two strangers.
- Raphnie

If friends disappoint you over and over, that's in large part your own fault. Once someone has shown a tendency to be self-centered, you need to recognize that and take care of yourself; people aren't going to change simply because you want them to.
- Oprah Winfrey, O Magazine

Bumiku (A poem from Rohadatul Aisy)

Bumiku

Kau beriku sejuta pesona nan indah
Berikan semua apa yang tidak dapat kudapatkan
Melindungi jutaan nyawa yang berarti
Tempat semua orang berdiri
Tempatsemua orang bernyanyi
Perut dan tubuhmulah kami bergantung
Berpijak, tinggal, mempunyai semuanya
Kau sediakan semua sumber mata air
Pohon-pohon dan gunung adalah selaputmu
Bentangan tanah hijau nanluas
               Kau paparkan dengan jernih
 Tapi,
  Apa yang kami lakukan
  Kami menyakitimu, Kami melukaimu
  Kami potong renggus habis kulitmu
Sampai hanya perih yang kau rasa
  Yang takpernah kami pedulikan
  Kau menangis, berteriak, kesakitan
  Saatbenda-benda asing masuk ke perutmu
Dan pada saat itu kau masih tetap tersenyum
  Melindungi dengan hangat nyadekapan mu
Walau kau sudah tua dan mungkin rentan
Tapi kau mencoba tetap teguh agar kau tak rapuh

This poem tells us about the conditions of our earth. How old they are, so that we don’t realize it. Everyday we do our activities without any innocent feeling. Do you know? we make our earth older and older but we don’t care about it. Actually, he feels so unhappy and sick but he can’t shout it to tell us. It’s important for caring our earth and our environment. Thanks a lot for our earth that has give us changes to life in.

“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: This is the ideal life”- Mark Twain

Do you remember the first time we met? At that time we still didn’t know each other except you and your friend who were in the same junior high school like Shifa with Aina and Afifah, Ariana with Ningrum, Santi with Cryspa and Diqna. We came from different places, different schools, different personalities, and different faces. There were no similarities between us except the fact that we are all females.Day by day we spent together. Sometimes there were our friend who cried because she missed her family so bad, sometimes there were a stupid fight between us for no reason at all and then it was over just for 10 minutes or more. Haha it was funny, wasn’t it?Hey @bna22girls , have you all noticed that we have an ideal life in dormitory? Well, we think that it is such a boring thing to live in the dormitory without our parents, our family, our Junior High School friends, our gadget, and any thing. We assume that sleeping, studying, eating, sleeping, and then studying again in our daily life in dormitory is boring. We don’t notice that from the day we met until now, we have an ideal life in dormitory. We have good friends that always support us and make us laugh like being crazy. We have good books to enrich our knowledge. And we have a sleepy conscience that makes us asleep and when we sleep, we dream of being successful together. I know that maybe some of you underestimate this article, maybe some of you feel sick being in dormitory. Honestly, sometimes we do not like each other because of our behavior. But actually, we don’t know behind it all we support each other wholeheartedly. We can feel that without them in our life, we are nothing. Bad and good, two types of adjective that complement each other. We and the dormitory and its all sense of love and grief, are things that always complete each other to make a perfect togetherness. So now, we know we have an ideal life in a place that we can call it as “home”, yeah our beloved dormitory.
